Julez Smith, son of singer Solange Knowles, recently took to Instagram to answer some burning questions from fans. In a candid Q&A session, he opened up about his family’s privacy, his relationship with his aunt Beyoncé, and his passion for fashion.

Julez started off the Q&A session by answering some lighthearted questions pertaining to his interests and his height.

However, the atmosphere quickly turned serious when the topic of family privacy arose. He firmly stated that he would not entertain intrusive questions about his family.

“If you know me you know I don’t speak on my family,” he told followers. “That’s for y’all to find out. Anything about my family is for y’all to find out somewhere else but it ain’t from me.”

When asked if he texts his superstar aunt Beyoncé, Smith asked, “Do you text your aunt?”

To the world, she may be an iconic superstar, but to Julez, she is just “auntie.”

“I feel like everybody texts their aunt,” he explained. “That’s just my auntie. Just like how your auntie is just your auntie.”

Julez’s passion for fashion is undeniable. When asked about his interest in the fashion industry, he simply stated that he wanted to be “fly.” Like many teenagers, he loves to express himself through his style and clothing choices.

“I really just wanted to be fly. I just really started love clothes.”

Beyond fashion, Julez has other interests that are common among teenagers. He revealed that he enjoys playing basketball, and this passion was inspired by his father, Daniel Smith.

Julez made it clear that he maintains a limited presence on social media. He has only two accounts, and on TikTok, you can find him under the username “therealjuelz5.”

Julez will celebrate his 19th birthday later this year on October 18, 2004.
