2 Chainz strikes a pose with son halo during a night out at the 2023 ESPY Awards. The 45-year-old “It’s a Vibe” rapper posted pics and a video, on Instagram, from the night with Halo as they struck the same poses for photographers on the red carpet.
The rapper thanked @espn for the invite and said that the stylish duo, “had a great time at the #espys2023.”
In 2022, 2 Chainz and his mini-me started their own podcast entitled Me and Halo. The pair talk to industry professionals and celebrities, pop culture, sports, and more. In a recent episode, Halo talked about what he wanted to be when he grew up…and it’s not necessarily, following in his footsteps.
“I want to be an actor so I can inspire kids to not give up on their dreams,” the seven-year-old said.
But, his 2 Chainz added another career choice to the mix…modeling, because he reminded his son that, “he likes to put the drip on” and take pictures.
Many may or may not know that 2 Chainz is truly a dedicated family man first-and-foremost. He spoke last year to The New York Times, talking about his family life, and how they all keep him going.
“My beautiful kids keep me going — having an extension of myself, it just brings on new responsibilities, new challenges. I have three kids: A 13-year-old who’s really into volleyball, a 9-year-old who’s very into art and expression. My youngest is my only son — he’s 6 years old and he’s really into basketball. I can honestly say he completes me.”
He continued in the interview, “I thank God also for my wife and my mom. My wife, obviously, for procreating with me and being such a good life partner. And my mom, for birthing a millionaire, a genius, a guy who still has some of the best ideas and marketing rollouts in the game.”
In addition to Halo, 2 Chainz shares daughters eldest daughter Heaven and middle child Harmony with wife Kesha Ward.
