Masika Kalysha recently shared heartwarming photos of her family on Instagram. The snapshots show Kalysha, husband Jamar Champ and daughters Amari Hermes and Khari, Barbie all wearing white tops and denim jeans, happily posing for the camera.

In the caption accompanying the photos, Masika expressed her deep love and devotion to her daughters.

“Everything I do I do for you 2. Momma will never let you down. I’ll go to the ends of the earth for my girls. God did His big one! He gave me the most beautiful, sweetest princesses I could ever ask for. I thank God for you @kharibarbie & @amarihermes.,” Masika captioned on Instagram.

This past Mother’s Day, Masika Kalysha took a moment to reflect on her role as a mother to her two children.

“Yesterday I took time to reflect on myself, and my life as a mother. I didn’t make a grandiose Mother’s Day post like I always do… and I almost felt bad for not doing so, but, I had to take a day… a mommy day, a mental health day. I have a 7 year old and 7 month old. Motherhood is the best thing that ever happened to me and I couldn’t be any happier to be a mother to these two beautiful princesses,” she wrote.

However, Masika also acknowledged the challenges that come with being a mother. She highlighted the expectations placed on mothers to take care of everyone without receiving the same care and appreciation in return.

She continued, “But sometimes we as mom’s go through the process doing what we need to do doing what we have to do, to take care of everybody, and nobody takes care of us. We are expected to do it all, often with no thanks or appreciation, and it’s easy to take care of everyone and not take care of yourself.”

The business woman concluded her post by paying tribute to her own mother, Makeba Sells.

“I’m a damn good mother who has an amazing mother @makebasellsatl. I learned so much from her selflessness and I am so blessed God gave me these two beautiful girls. I almost don’t remember my life before them and I couldn’t imagine my life without them.”
