On Father’s Day, Jeannie Mai Jenkins took to Instagram to express her deep appreciation for her husband, Jeezy. In a heartfelt message, she highlighted his unwavering commitment as a protector and provider for their family, while also celebrating his recent achievement as an Amazon best-selling author.

“First thing I woke up to this Father’s Day was my husband making breakfast for our kids 🥹 Happiest Father’s Day to the man who protects us, provides for us, and whose first published book is already #1 Best Seller on Amazon preorder‼️That’s our Daddy,”she wrote.

Jeannie and Jeezy welcomed their daughter, Monaco Mai, on January 11, 2022. While Monaco is the couple’s first child together, Jeezy also has two children from previous relationships.

During a recent interview with People, Jeannie Mai described Monaco and Jeezy as being “like two peas in a pod,” noting that Monaco’s resemblance to her father is undeniable, with similar eyes and nose.

“They’re like two peas in a pod, and it doesn’t help that she looks pretty much like him,” said Mai Jenkins. “She has his eyes, she has his nose.”

“I’m looking at my favorite twins in the world whenever I wake up,” she continued, adding that she loves being able to “discover new things” about both Monaco and Jeezy as they strengthen their daddy-daughter bond.

Monaco has mixed heritage, with her mother being Vietnamese and her father being Black. Jeannie recently spoke about the importance of helping her daughter embrace her unique identity.

“She’s a beautiful blend of being Black and Vietnamese and I want her to really understand what that means as a powerful woman today.”

Adding, “She understands both sides and I only speak Vietnamese to her,” she said. “And then Dad only speaks the South to her. I don’t know what’s going to come out, we’ll see.”
