In celebration of Father’s Day on Sunday, Sean “Diddy” Combs took to Instagram to share a heartwarming photo of himself surrounded by six of his seven children. The music mogul simply captioned the photos, “HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE.”
Notablly absent from the pictures was Quincy Brown, who was in London for work at the time. Quincy is one of Diddy’s seven children, along with Justin Combs, Christian Combs, Chance Combs, Jessie James Combs, D’Lila Star Combs, and Love Sean Combs.
In addition to sharing pictures of his kids, Diddy also posted an emotional tribute to his late father in honor of the holiday. He revealed that his father, Melvin Earl Combs, passed away when he was just three years old. Diddy shared a photo of himself with his father before his untimely demise.
Combs began his heartfelt message by saying, “My father was killed when I was 3 yrs old. We never got to share the moments that made me a man today but he lives in my spirit. Sometimes you can’t just answer why things happen, but I definitely think the route that I went on – staying out of the streets and hitting my books and trying to be somebody – I think he played a role in that. He’s gonna be on my mind a lot today. My father’s name was Melvin Combs and I’m Melvin’s son, Sean Combs. Happy Fathers Day Pops!”
