Comedian and actor Mike Epps couldn’t contain his pride as his daughter Moriah graduated from high school on Friday.
Taking to Instagram, Epps shared snapshots of Moriah adorned in her cap and gown and captioned, “My baby girl Moriah walk the stage today it was definitely one of the best moments. All the trips to school in the morning, playin her favorite songs… wow all grown now on her way to Paris for college. The world 🌎 is yours.”
Over the weekend, Moriah attended her high school prom. In an Instagram post, Mike expressed his pride in Moriah, describing her as a beautiful, classy, smart, and funny young lady.
“What a beautiful young lady you are,” Mike wrote to Moriah “Classy, smart, and funny,” the celebrity dad added. “I am so proud to be your Dad,” Mike said. “Love you.”
Moriah Epps is one of two kids Mike Epps has with his first wife, Mechelle McCain. The two were married for more than ten years before finalizing their divorce in 2017. Mike shared the lessons he learned from his first marriage during a 2019 interview with The Breakfast Club.
“You’ve got to really understand what marriage is; especially for a man,” Epps said. “We all think that marriage is just something to say or something to make you look good in the business world, or make you look like you’re complete somewhere. But it’s really a job,” the comedia declared. “It’s really work,” he added.
“You’ve got to do a little bit of what she wants to do sometimes, [and then] do a little bit of what you want to do,” Mike told The Breakfast Club co-hosts. “You’ve got to compromise.”
Mike Epps wed his second wife, Kyra, in 2019. The two welcomed a daughter, Indiana, in 2020 and a son named Mike Epps Jr. in 2021.
