Da Brat and Jesseca “Judy” Harris-Dupart celebrated the forthcoming birth of their baby with a baby shower this past weekend. The celebrity couple shared pictures from the event.
The theme of the party was taken from the Minions film. Pillows were spread throughout the venue along with balloons that bore the movie’s colors. Da Brat and Judy also wore yellow and blue apparel that gave tribute to the Minions. The expectant couple made a grand entrance in a Rolls Royce that further promoted the party’s theme.
“I am STILL on a cloud,” Da Brat told her social media fans on Sunday (May 21). “Our little Minion baby shower was soooo BEAURRRRTIFUL,” the pregnant star exclaimed.
“From the decor to the delectable food to the decadent desserts to the FABULOUS FAMILY & FRIENDS who came out to my wife’s a*s in the air twerking to the delicious specialty drinks,” Brat said of the shower’s activities. “What a way to CELEBRATE our little Miracle Drop,” the entertainer continued.
“THAAANK YOU wholeheartedly to EVERYONE who loves and supports us,” Da Brat wrote to her and Judy’s supporters. “Everyone who came was full of love and good energy. The VIBES in this building was EXACTLY what we wanted our BABY to FEEL.”
Da Brat and Jesseca “Judy” Harris-Dupart have been preparing for their first child since last year. The celebrity couple shared news of the family’s expansion at the top of the year. Brat and Judy revealed their expectancy of a son in March. The celebrity couple had a gender reveal party that stylish and vibrant.
“It’s been quite a journey,” Da Brat said of her pregnancy. “There’s a lot of stuff we learned about women over the age of 40,” the pregnant star shared.
Da Brat and Judy were not initially planning to have a baby together. “It started as a joke, we were like, ‘We’re extending our family!’” Judy told the press. “But then we got a huge response,” the businesswoman revealed. “It was like, ‘Oh my God do we want to actually have kids, and if we do, girl, we better hurry up!”
Da Brat and Judy were able to conceive by undergoing IVF treatments. They are expecting their little one to arrive in the coming weeks.
