LeBron ‘Bronny’ James Jr. attended his high school prom at Sierra Canyon School on Saturday. Bronny’s parents, Savannah and Lebron James, proudly shared photos from the night on Instagram.
For the occasion, Bronny sported a sleek all-black suit by Chrome Hearts, exuding style and sophistication. His girlfriend, Peyton Gelfuso, complemented his attire with an elegant black dress.
“TOUGH. Chrome Hearts Big Steppa VIBEZ!!! #Prom2023 #HandsomeYoungMan @bronny. P.S. The best Prom outfit of ALL-TIME!! Insane!!!” Lebron captioned his photos.
Last year, Bronny faced unwarranted criticism when he accompanied Peyton to her prom. Critics voiced their baseless concerns on social media, expressing their disapproval of James attending prom with a white woman. However, the couple seemed unbothered as they attended prom together this year.
Bronny James recently signed the Letter of Intent (LOI) to join USC to play basketball, a decision that came as a surprise to many. This decision came as a surprise since he had received offers from other prestigious schools, including Duke, Kentucky, and UCLA. Ultimately, he chose to follow in his father’s footsteps by attending his alma mater.
“My boy signed his letter of intent yesterday for @uschoops! So damn happy and proud of you @bronny!! Pops shed a gangsta seeing this. So AMAZING!!” Lebron wrote on Instagram.
Bronny’s college enrollment is a significant milestone for the James family since LeBron himself bypassed college and entered the NBA directly from high school.
“One of the best days of my life,” the elder James said during a press conference. “First of all, congratulations to Bronny on his decision he made. I’m super proud of him, our family is proud of him. For me personally, it’s even more special to me because it’s the first time someone out go my family to go to college. Obviously I didn’t go to college.”
He added, “It’s just a proud moment to see my son go to college, and he’s the first one to go college in my family. Super duper proud, super emotional, but just super duper excited and happy for his journey. Today was a proud day. I couldn’t lose today no matter the outcome of this game.”
