Giannis Antetokounmpo and Mariah Riddlesprigger are expecting baby number three! The celebrity couple announced the family’s expansion on Wednesday (May 10).
Giannis and Mariah shared a candid that featured the word “baby” behind them. Blue and pink balloons led fans to believe the two were at a gender reveal event. Regardless, Mariah and Giannis shared the moment with their sons, Liam Charles and Maverick Shai.
“Our dreams becoming reality,” Giannis and Mariah shared with their social media fans. “I had a feeling,” one Instagram follower exclaimed. “Congratulations,” the supporter continued. “A mom recently told me that someone told her: The first is for everyone, the second is for a sibling for the first, [and] the third is for you to soak up every single moment.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Mariah Riddlesprigger have certainly been soaking up the love as the parents of two kids. The star athlete recently shared the joys of fatherhood with the press.
“It’s one of the biggest accomplishments I’ve accomplished in my life so far,” Giannis said of parenthood. “I love my kids to death, would do anything for them, the way, you know, my dad did for me, and hopefully I can be as loving a father as my dad was to me,” the NBA play added.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s father, Charles Antetokounmpo, passed away in 2017. Still, his legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren.
“I hope that he’s extremely proud of what we accomplished and who we’ve become as human beings, on and off the court,” Giannis told the press. “And the way that we shared our movie with the world, the way that he’s being portrayed in the movie, I think he will be proud, and I know that he’s watching us.”
