Sydel opened up about her and Damion’s struggles with infertility after welcoming their son, Daxon, in 2021. Mrs. Lee was transparent about the IVF treatments that were sometimes challenging.

“The days of wondering if we will ever have the family we yearn for. Hearing others ask if we should ‘just take it as a sign to go another route.’ Infertility is one of the toughest things to go through but each and every battle to the goal is worth it,” Sydel shared with her supporters last week.

“I remember those trenches,” Sydel continued. “I remember those tears and fears. I still face them to this day.”

Sydel ended her message last week by encouraging couples battling with infertility to not lose hope. “If you are in the depths, wondering, ‘Will it ever happen for me?’ I hold your heart through this and I pray that whatever the outcome may bring, most of all you find peace.”

Sydel Curry and Damion Lee will celebrate their son’s second birthday in November. The couple’s second child is expected to arrive in August.
