Faith Jenkins is settling into her role as a working mom. The judge and executive producer took to Instagram last week to share her thoughts ahead of celebrating her first Mother’s Day as a mom.
“A working mom,” Judge Faith said of her life as a new parent. “A few thoughts on my new life in this capacity,” Jenkins continued. “It was on this day at 11 weeks post-partum that I realized I could no longer fit a single pre-pregnancy shoe in my closet,” the celebrity mom revealed. “Clothes, I expected, but the shoes … why lawd,” Judge Faith mused.
Faith Jenkins and her husband, Kenny Lattimore, welcomed their daughter, Skylar Leigh Lattimore, earlier this year. Kenny doted on his wife who showed great strength when giving birth to their daughter.
“I marvel at your strength and resilience and am so happy our daughter has you as her guiding light in life,” Kenny wrote to Faith. “You are going to be the most incredible mother to our Skylar,” the recording artist shared.
Faith has embraced the various stages of motherhood, which has included adjusting her schedule. “I’m happy to be back at work and Skylar gets to see her mom in action,” Jenkins told her supporters.
“Also, with my first Mother’s Day rapidly approaching I decided to join @cameo,” Faith said of her decision to partner with Cameo for Mother’s Day. “You can now request a personal Mother’s Day message from me for your mom, favorite aunt, grannies, or friends,” she added. “Looking forward to connecting with you all on Cameo,” Faith exclaimed.
Skylar is Faith Jenkins’s first child and Kenny Lattimore’s only daughter. The recording artist also has a son, Kenny Lattimore Jr., with singer Chantè Moore who turned 20 years old earlier this month. Mother’s Day is on Sunday, May 14, 2023.
