Lira Mercer, also known as Lira Galore, recently shared the name of her newborn son and not everyone is happy about it.
“My sons name is Forever,” Lira wrote on Twitter earlier this week. She later shared that her son’s full name is Forever Tyree Morris.
While some fans congratulated the new mom on the birth of her son, others were quick to criticize her choice of name. One person commented, “Why [did] you [give] your son a dumba&* name?”
Lira did not hesitate to clap back, responding, “I’m not sittin on the internet worried about what you b#$ches is naming y’all kids. So there’s that on that.”
She continued, “Y’all think anybody kid name that’s not Da’quan D’shawn Jackson is ‘dumb’. I got cut wide open for these so if I wanna make mine car & sky that’s wtf it is. Wtf is it to you?”
Since announcing the arrival of her baby boy with Rico Cash, Lira has been sharing photos of the little one on social media, as well as giving fans a sneak peek into the baby’s nursery.
“Everything was handpicked & whatever felt right when I thought of my son, is what I bought. This is such a MOMENT! Nesting & Doing your nursery exactly how you want is so important for moms,” she shared.
She continued, “I was so happy this whole time! So much love & energy went into this room & I wanna thank my family & my man for staying out of my way & letting me do my thang!”
Lira concluded by sharing a heartfelt message with her son, letting him know that he is loved.
“Forever Tyree Morris, Know that you are LOVED & I hope you love your nursery as much as mommy & daddy does!”
