Pregnant Da Brat is basking in the joys of pregnancy. The entertainer and her wife, Jesseca Judy Dupart, recently uploaded a video clip that featured Da Brat reacting to her baby’s kicks.
“Guess who’s feeling the baby’s movements now,” Judy told her and Da Brat’s Instagram fans.
“It’s the SWEETEST little thing to watch,” Jesseca added. “My wife is so deserving of all this excitement, love and blessings. Baby Boy Harris-Dupart is playing games with his mommy.”
Da Brat and Judy announced their expectancy of a child a few weeks ago. Fans were thrilled to learn of the celebrity couple’s family expansion since Da Brat and Judy shared their desire to have a child last year. The couple endured significant challenges that included Judy requiring emergency medical attention during the IVF experience.
Doctors initially advised against Da Brat carrying her and Judy’s baby, which was a scene that unfolded on the celebrity couple’s Reality TV series, Brat Loves Judy. “The doctor said that I have two fibroid tumors,” Da Brat revealed during a segment of the show.
“He suggested that I shouldn’t carry,” Brat added. “I mean I don’t know much about fibroid tumors but you know he was like it would probably be better if my partner carries,” the entertainer shared.
Judy was willing to carry her and Da Brat’s child but expressed her desire to see Da Brat experience pregnancy. “I think the journey, if I was the one to carry, just wouldn’t be as sentimental for her because she would be, you know, she would bond with the baby inside of her,” the businesswoman said on her Reality TV show.
“[Da Brat] would get the first kick, the first feels, the first butterfly flutters,” Judy added. “So, ideally, I would want it to be her. But if she can’t, we’re going to make it happen either way it goes.”
Da Brat was able to conceive and carry what will be her and Judy’s first child together. The little one is expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
