Love Is Blind star Bartise Bowden recently announced that he is now a proud father of a baby boy! The reality TV star shared the news with his followers on Friday, expressing his excitement about his new role as a parent
“Might’ve been the villain on TV, but I’m gonna (sic) be the hero for him,” Bowden told his social media followers. “Instagram, meet my little man,” the celebrity father said.
Bartise was known as the “villain” of the third season of Love Is Blind, after getting engaged to Nancy Rodriguez on the show but declining to marry her.
In an Instagram Live segment last year, he acknowledged the negative perception some viewers had of him, saying, “I looked like a dumba**.”
“I looked arrogant. I looked insensitive. I looked selfish. It is what it is,” Bowden continued. “I can only learn from it. I can only grow from it,” the Reality TV star shared.
“Watching it back was a blessing to me because when I was going through it I didn’t have any of those feelings and now I do,” Bowden said of watching himself break up with Rodriguez during Season 3 of Love Is Blind. “Embarrassed and ashamed,” he added. “This is the villain right here.”
Despite his past actions on the show, Bartise is now looking forward to being a positive role model for his son. The mother of his baby is Olivia Gross, who goes by the handle @livgirl432 on TikTok. Olivia lives in Texas and has shared photos of herself with her baby on Instagram.
You may be wondering if Bartise knew he was going to be a dad on Love Is Blind. According to Gross, she didn’t realize she was pregnant until five months into her pregnancy. Moreover, it’s important to clarify that Love Is Blind season three was filmed during the summer months of 2021, around July and August, so Bartise was not expecting a child at the time he was getting to know Nancy on the show.
