Halle Bailey is celebrating another milestone moment surrounding her upcoming role as Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid. The singer/actress is now getting her very own “Little Mermaid” Barbie Doll.

“Omg…the little girl in me is pinching herself right now ..I have my own Little Mermaid Ariel doll !!!” Halle posted on Instagram. “I can’t believe how much she captures my version of this iconic character…brb gonna go cry now.”
She continued, “I have something really exciting to reveal to you all. I am gonna cry. This is the new Little Mermaid doll! I am literally choking up because this means so much to me. And to have one that looks like me, that’s my favorite Disney character, is very surreal. And look, she even has my mole! See? And the hair, and the tail…I’m just stunned, so I don’t quite know what to do with it, but I’m gonna steal this and take it home.”
The new Barbie Doll will be released on April 23rd for purchase. However, if you are afraid that they will sell out, pre-sale orders are now available! The posable doll retails for $14.99.
In addition to the Barbie Doll, Little Mermaid fans will also have the opportunity to purchase The Little Mermaid Live Action Novelization, ($6.92). The book will be available on April 11th so that fans can get lost in the novel well before the movie hits the screen on May 26th.

In addition to Halle, The Little Mermaid will star Melissa McCarthy, Javier Bardem, Noma Dumezweni, Jonah Hauer-King, Simone Ashley, Jacob Tremblay, Daveed Diggs and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
