Naturi Naughton is well into her third trimester of pregnancy. The actress took to Instagram on Monday (Mar. 20) to give social media an update on her journey.
Naturi shared a video clip that featured her getting the most out of her workout routine. The actress lifted a few weights and did a few reps on the medicine ball.
“Third trimester, I will NOT let you get me down,” Naughton declared. “[I’m] pushing through,” the actress added in reference to her workout routine. “And then I’m going to need a nap,” Naturi mused. “Thanks @jerryrjoseph for training me throughout my pregnancy,” the expectant star wrote to her personal trainer, Jerry Joseph. “I feel so strong and ready.”
Naturi Naughton and her husband, Two Lewis, announced their expectancy of a child last month. The news came after the couple wed last April. Naturi spoke with Contrast magazine in July wherein she discussed her life as a new wife.
“It feels amazing to step into the next chapter,” Naughton told the magazine. “We just celebrated two months,” the actress said of her new union. “Until we make it to a year, we celebrate every day because it’s an accomplishment to find your person and make a conscious choice to be committed and married,” Naturi shared. “I’m out here giving #WifeLife, and it’s been fun,” she exclaimed. “It’s been fun to explore a new layer of myself.”
Self discovery has been a leading component in Naturi’s life that has led her to appreciate what she brings to the table.
“I’m blessed to have had my journey, but I would advise other aspiring artists to know themselves first,” the actress shared with Contrast. “To make sure they stay grounded and be committed to their craft,” she added.
“A lot of people nowadays, with social media, think they can post something, and that’s their thing, but that’s not long-lasting. I recommend knowing who you are and staying committed to who you are because when I walk into a room, you’re getting Naturi.”
Naturi Naughton and Two Lewis are expecting their first child together to arrive in time for summer. The little one will join Naturi’s daughter, Zuri, at home.
