Damion Lee and Sydel Curry-Lee are expecting their second child together! The couple shared their exciting news on social media, accompanied by a heartwarming video clip featuring their son, Daxon Wardell-Xavier Lee.
In the video, Daxon can be seen running around the house and showering his mom with kisses. Towards the end of the clip, Damion dotes on his wife, and places his hand on her belly. Sydel captioned the post, “August 2023. For this child we have prayed.”
The announcement was met with an outpouring of love and congratulations from fans and followers on Instagram. Khadeen Ellis, an actress and friend of the couple, expressed her excitement in the comments, saying, “My heart is exploding for you, Sydel. Congrats fam.”
Sydel Curry and Damion Lee welcomed their first child in November 2021. Daxon arrived months after his parents underwent IVF treatments that were, at times, challenging.
“No words are enough to describe the bliss of having my sweet son here,” Sydel told her social media fans after welcoming Daxon. “We are in newborn bliss and soaking in every single moment,” the new mom shared.
Mrs. Lee gave a candid account of her breastfeeding journey nearly a year into her life as a mom. “Eight months of breastfeeding my mister man,” Sydel shared. “If you would have asked me one week into our journey if I thought I’d make it this far I would have cried in your face,” the celebrity mom said. “But here we are,” Mrs. Lee added.
Sydel Curry and Damion Lee did not share their most recent plans for family expansion with the public. The couple also refrained from immediately announcing Sydel’s pregnancy. Nevertheless, family and friends were beyond thrilled to learn of the couple’s expectancy.
“Congrats, my brother,” Jordan Jimenez shared on Damion’s Instagram page. “God is great,” another fan said. “Congratulations to you and Sydel.”
