Shamea Morton and her husband, Gerald Mwangi, continue to monitor their youngest daughter, Shiloh Mwangi, as she makes strides after premature birth. Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star Porsha Williams shared a picture from her recent visit with her good friend.
“Went to see my baby momma today,” Williams-Guobadia said of the visit. “Baby Shiloh is so cute and cuddly,” Porsha added. “I didn’t wanna put her down,” the RHOA star exclaimed.
“Tee Tee loves you, Pooh Bear,” Porsha wrote to Shiloh. “Can’t wait for you to come home,” the Reality TV star exclaimed. “I told Shamea I’m ready to braid and put beads in all that hair as soon as she comes home.”
Shamea Morton and Gerald Mwangi welcomed Shiloh via surrogacy in February. Shiloh was born on Valentine’s Day, which was several weeks before her expected arrival.
“I cut the umbilical cord and we got a faint cry so we thought everything was fine,” Shamea shared with her social media fans. “Moments later she began to struggle to breathe,” the celebrity mom revealed. “The doctors @northsidehosp immediately began to work on her but she eventually had to be put on 100% oxygen,” Morton explained.
Shamea solicited prayers for her daughter, which received dozens of positive messages from her fans. The celebrity mom took to Instagram days later to give her supporters an update.
“Hey, best friends,” Shamea began her message. “I have a praise report,” she added. “Shiloh’s first surgery went,” the celebrity mom shared. Shamea went on to tell fans that her daughter “has stents in her nose but she’s been extubated (no more tubes in her throat). She now has a nasal cannula and she’s in her mommy’s arms.”
Shiloh is one of two kids Shamea Morton and Gerald Mwangi have together. The couple also has an older daughter named Shya who celebrates her fifth birthday in November.
