March Madness is in full swing and Candace Parker’s kids, Lailaa Nicole and Airr Larry, are ready. The youngsters were recently photographed while celebrating their moms’ college alma maters.
Candace Parker got all the love as Lailaa and Airr wore more apparel from the University of Tennessee than from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, which is Anna Petrakova’s alma mater. “March Madness is wild,” Candace exclaimed in an Instagram post that celebrated the season. “But kids have to choose sides,” the celebrity mom joked. “I’m glad MINE chose the correct side,” Parker further mused. “#BleedOrange or no dinner.”
Anna Petrakova could not pass the funny Instagram post without adding a bit of humor to the mix. “All I see is deceit,” the star athlete shared. “While I’m gone, you make my son and my nephew change sides by using bribery and force,” Anna mused. “Wow,” the celebrity mom said. “Wow. I thought in love it was a fair game.”
Candace Parker and Anna Petrakova celebrate four years of marriage this year. Candace shared her marriage with the world in 2021 while also announcing her expectancy of a son. Airr was born in February 2022 and joined his older sister at home.
Candace recently decided to sign with the Las Vegas Aces and cited her daughter as the driving motivation behind her choice. “Throughout her 13 years, Lailaa has always sacrificed for me; always put me first; and always supported me in what I wanted or needed to do, even when it was tough on her,” Parker shared. “I need to be there for my daughter, for my son, for my wife,” the celebrity mom continued.
“I can’t be without them for parts of the season when Lailaa is in school and I won’t miss her volleyball games or school dances simply because of distance,” Candace told her supporters. “Lailaa starts high school in August and I need to be there for her, just as she’s been there for me.”
Candace played for the Chicago Sky before deciding to play for the Aces. This year marks eighteen years if Parker playing basketball professionally.
