Congratulations to Jasmine Tookes and her husband, Juan David Borrero. The couple welcomed a baby girl last month.
Jasmine took to Instagram on Thursday (Mar. 2) to announce the birth of her daughter. “Mia Victoria,” Tookes said of her newborn’s name. The model went on to tell her supporters that her daughter was born on February 23, 2023.
“OMG,” Lira Galore wrote in response to the news. “Congratulations,” she added. “Welcome to this world, Mia,” another fan said. “May God’s favor stay upon your life,” the supporter added.
Jasmine Tookes and Juan David Borrero announced their expectancy of a child last November. The model shared pictures from a recent maternity shoot on Valentine’s Day.
Jasmine expressed her desire to have a stressless pregnancy during an interview with Vogue. “I’m a firm believer that whatever I feel—and any stress that I’m carrying—can very easily transfer to the baby,” Tookes revealed. “Every day is scary—you never know what’s going to happen,” she added. “So I just pray, hope for the best, and try to keep an open mind.”
Jasmine gave a pregnancy update at her six-month mark in which she expressed gratitude for her family’s expansion.
“The last six months have gone by so fast and we can’t wait to meet this precious little angel,” Tookes shared with her social media fans. “Feeling so grateful to start a family with you, @juandavidborrero,” the model wrote to her husband.
The love story of Jasmine and Juan began in 2016. The two met in Los Angeles for a fashion show. “I went to lunch with Juan and a couple [of] other Snapchat employees,” Tookes shared during a recent interview with Vogue.
Juan, who is the director of international markets at Snapchat, asked Jasmine on another date. “Juan invited me to a birthday party that same night,” Tookes recalled. “There was a natural attraction to each other,” she added. “We kept in touch since that night, and the rest is history.”
Victoria is Juan and Jasmine’s first child. The couple celebrates two years of marriage this year.
