Chrissy Teigen is holding things together. The cookbook author recently shared a picture showcasing her beautiful chaos.
In the photo, Chrissy’s son, Miles, was holding her clothes while the celebrity mom was tending to her newborn. Baby Esti’s face was hidden from the camera. ‘“What’d you do today,’” Chrissy wrote in the caption section. “My kids: ‘Nothing.’” John Legend wrote, “Always. Like they signed an NDA.”
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcomed their youngest daughter a few weeks ago. Baby Esti made her mom and dad parents for the fourth time. John and Chrissy introduced her to the world earlier this month.
“One of God’s most precious gifts,” one social media follower declared. “I’m so happy for your beautiful family,” another fan said.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s baby girl arrived just over two years after the celebrity parents lost their youngest son, Jack, due to a miscarriage.
“Whenever you lose a pregnancy, it is always cautious optimism when you are pregnant again,” John Legend said during a recent interview. “You never know what could happen, and you have experienced that tragedy of losing one,” he explained. “So your optimism is a little bit tempered by that.”
John and Chrissy waited until she was several months into her pregnancy to share their expectancy with the world. “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still,” Chrissy admitted in her pregnancy announcement. “Everything’s been great,” she added.
The greatness that John and Chrissy are experiencing comes with its fair share of challenges. Teigen told her social media fans that she and her husband were doing their best when commenting on Valentine’s Day photos that featured her wearing clothing stained by Esti’s vomit.
“How do you look that good right after giving birth,” one social media follower asked Chrissy after viewing the family’s photos. “Look how proud Luna is to hold her,” another fan said in reference to John and Chrissy’s oldest daughter, Luna Stephens, holding her baby sister.
Luna celebrates her seventh birthday in April. Miles turns five years old in May. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen commemorate ten years of marriage this year.
