“All I need in this life of sin,” Cardi said of her kids. Kulture hugged her mom and younger brother as Cardi B posed for the picture. “This is so beautiful,” one social media follower declared. “They’re so adorable,” another supporter shared.
Kulture made Cardi B a mother for the first time on July 10, 2018. The rapper and her husband, Offset, welcomed their son in September 2021.
“It’s been very stressful,” Cardi B said of her life as the mother of two kids during a recent interview with Vogue: Singapore. “I’ve been up all night and all day with my baby for the past two days—but what can you do,” the celebrity mom asked at the time.
“I’m exhausted. I’ve been overwhelmed and scared,” Cardi admitted. “I started to think about how my mom had to go through this a lot because my sister and I used to always fall sick at the same time,” the celebrity mom explained. “I’ve never appreciated my mom more—having kids helps you see things a little bit differently,” the recording artist revealed.
Some counted Cardi B out of the rap game after learning of her expectancy of a child in 2017. “I didn’t have an album out when I found out I was pregnant,” the celebrity mom told the press.
“Everybody was so nervous for my career and future, but I kept telling them, ‘It’s easy. Trust me, I’m going to have a nanny and she’s going to travel up and down with me. It’s not even going to be a hassle.’”
Kulture has not traveled with her mom as much and neither has Wave. Cardi’s mom, Clara Almánzar, watches the kids when Cardi is on the road or pulling all-night music sessions in the studio.
“Your parents have already lived their life and raised their kids,” Cardi shared with Vogue when discussing the sacrifices she makes to utilize her mom’s caregiving services as little as possible. “I’m never far from my kids because that’s my responsibility as a mother,” the recording artist declared.
