Gracie’s Corner has become a household name when it comes to culturally relevant and inclusive children’s programs on YouTube. In acknowledgement of not only Gracie’s Corner‘s importance to so many, the program and its creator, Graceyn Hollingsworth, have been nominated for both an NAACP Award and a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award!
Gracie’s Corner made it’s debut in 2020 to help address the difficulty in finding diverse content for Graceyn and her siblings as they homeschooled. Graceyn’s parents, Javoris Hollingsworth, Ph.D., a Chemistry Professor & Arlene Gordon-Hollingsworth, Ph.D., a licensed Clinical Psychologist, decided to take on the challenge and fill in the gap with the creation of Gracie’s Corner.
Gracie’s Corner programming averages 600M views on YouTube, 138M views on TikTok, 186K followers on Instagram, and 183K followers on Facebook. And, if Gracie’s Corner fans want more, there is a Spotify station that averages almost 100K monthly listeners!

Hollingsworth also echoed the same sentiment in terms of the NAACP Award nomination.

Gracie’s Corner has been nominated for Outstanding Animated Series at the 54th Annual NAACP Image Awards and for Favorite Female Creator at the 2023 Nickelodeon Kids‘ Choice Awards.
