K’mari Mae Epps, the daughter of Keisha and Omar Epps, is following in her mom’s musical footsteps! Last month, the 18-year-old singer released her first single, ‘Tis The Season’, during the Christmas holiday.
Proud mama Keisha Epps took to her Instagram on Christmas Day to announce her daughter’s project.
She began, “Merry Christmas! LOVE to all. TIS’ THE SEASON Official video is finally here!!! OUT NOW on YouTube, Apple Music, FaceBook & Tidal.”
Adding, “I’m so grateful for all the LOVE given to @kmari.epps to make this happen. And most proud of you K’mari for standing in your light, your gift and just simply for being BEAUTIFUL you.”
K’mari also shared the exciting news on Instagram, saying, “SURPRISE!!! “TIS’ THE SEASON” is out now on apple music, youtube, tidal, & all streaming other platforms..visuals coming soon.I hope this brings you as much joy as it brought me during the process of writing & creating this song. happy holidays to all.”
Earlier this month, Keisha Epps revealed just how proud she is of her teenager in a sweet post.
Epps wrote, “I’m so grateful because as a mom, you want the best for your child/children. You want to see them flourish, you want to see them working towards their goals in life, experience the fruit of their labor and live out their dream.”
She continued, “So here’s to you K’mari Mae for doing the work!!! My baby wrote the song, wrote the video treatment and delivered on set. Also for being such a beautiful magnet of beautiful people who want to see you shine in your light & contribute to your journey.”
Keisha Epps is an R&B singer who gained fame as a member of the American girl group Total alongside Kima Raynor and Pamela Long. She and actor Omar Epps have two kids- daughter K’mari Epps and a son named Amir. Omar also has an older daughter named Aiyanna.
