Ray J celebrated his forty-second birthday on Tuesday (Jan. 17). The entrepreneur had his wife, Princess Love, and their kids, Melody Love and Epik Ray, by his side to help commemorate the special occasion.
“Happy Birthday to the best dad in the world,” Princess wrote to Ray on Tuesday. “The only thing you wanted for your birthday was to see our kids happy,” she shared. “These are just one of the reasons why we love you.”
Ray J celebrated his birthday with Disney and Pixar characters. The gathering, which took place in the celebrity father’s hotel penthouse, was really for Melody and Epik to enjoy. Still, Ray got joy from seeing his kids so happy.
“Thanks for the b-day love,” the entrepreneur wrote to his social media fans on Tuesday. “I’m taking it easy today,” Ray said. “Family and friends [are] gonna (sic) pull up,” he added.

“I’ve been at this hotel for two months in Las Vegas on super grind mode,” Ray told his supporters. “New network deal #DOSH – New music projects on the way,” the entertainer exclaimed. “[I] had to get my wife back and start fresh,” Ray said of his family life.
“I love my family,” he continued. “I’ll fight over and over for life for my family and kids,” Ray shared with his fans. “I’ll put it all on the line for my children to be happy, and safe, and close to me 24/7!”
Ray J ended his birthday message by saying, “God is always working! Stay tuned! This new wave I’m on is lit in all the right ways!”
Ray J and Princess Love wed in 2016. They welcomed their daughter, Melody Love, on May 23, 2018. The couple’s son, Epik Ray, was born on January 7, 2020. Princess and Ray J faced the possibility of divorce for two years before deciding to reconcile their differences and remain married. The couple will celebrate seven years of marriage later this year.
