Keke Palmer is holding nothing back while on her pregnancy journey. The actress recently covered W magazine where she let her baby bump take centerstage.
Palmer was profiled among the magazine’s 2022 Best Performance Portfolio entries. All of the entertainer’s styles and poses were done in a way that put her protruding stomach in the spotlight.
“I’m very excited, nervous, and curious more than anything because it’s one of those things that no one can really prepare you for,” Keke said of her future life as a mom during a recent interview with Page Six. “More than anything, I can’t wait to get my hands on my baby,” the actress added.
Keke Palmer and her boyfriend, Darius Jackson-Daulton, announced their expectancy of a child four weeks ago. The NOPE star shared pictures and video clips from her babymoon to ring in the new year.
“I’m a naturally fast-paced person,” Keke shared with the press when asked about the ways in which pregnancy has forced her to take things a bit slower. “For me, life is going at least 90 miles per hour, that’s me cruising,” the actress said.
“So yeah, I think in general, whether it’s the holidays or this transition I’m having in my life, slowing down is definitely not something that comes naturally to me,” Palmer admitted.
In many ways, Keke has grown up in the spotlight. “It’s one of those things where how can you know anything else if that’s all you really know,” Palmer asked during her interview segment with W. “I started acting when I was 9. I was 14 when I did True Jackson, VP, and it was my own show,” Keke shared.
“I remember thinking, ‘Wow! This is crazy!’ When that show came out, everything changed for me. It was a whirlwind experience.”
