Asha and Devon Still are adjusting to life as the parents of three children. The celebrity couple took to Instagram this past weekend to give fans an update.
Devon shared a video clip of Asha preparing the room for when their youngest daughter, Amya, awoke from her nap. Devon tells his wife in the clip to stop what she is doing and rest. Asha, however, does not appear eager to sleep when the baby sleeps.
“I need y’all (sic) help,” Devon told his social media fans. “@ashastill not tryna (sic) listen to me, but maybe she’ll listen to y’all,” the NFL player continued. “Just write in the comments, ‘Get some rest, Asha!’ Thanks in advance.”
It was just a few days ago that Asha and Devon Still welcomed their youngest daughter. Little Amya made Devon and Asha’s oldest daughter, Aria, a big sister for the first time, which was quite the adjustment. Asha took to Instagram with a moment of transparency this past weekend.
“The past few weeks have been extremely hard for me,” Mrs. Still shared. “Since I gave birth to Aria we have been inseparable,” the celebrity mom said. “The bond we created over the past three years has been so amazing! However, thinking about how I could equally share my time after having a newborn made me emotional.”
“I honestly didn’t know how Aria would react to meeting Amya for the first time,” Asha shared with her social media fans. “Aria is such a loving and nurturing child but I wondered how having a new baby around would make her feel. I was so happy to see her immediate bond with her baby sister and felt a sense of relief.”
Asha’s relief turned to mom guilt after having to keep her older daughter away from her newborn for a time. “She hasn’t been able to fully interact with Amya because of a cold she currently has,” Still said of Aria’s bonding experience with her little sister.
“We explained to her how important it is for all of us to protect Amya because she’s so little,” Asha told her social media fans. “But at three years old all she wanted to do is express her excitement for her baby sister and love on her non-stop.” Asha concluded by telling her supporters that being a mom of two small children is “definitely a struggle but I’m trying to practice grace in the midst of it all.”
Amya and Aria are Devon and Asha Still’s biological children. Asha also has a bonus daughter named Leah who is Devon’s daughter from a previous relationship.
