Alyssa Scott and Nick Cannon have welcomed their second child together. Halo Marie Cannon arrived on December 14, 2022, which was just in time for Christmas.
“December 14, 2022. Our lives are forever changed,” Alyssa told her social media fans. “Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning,” Alyssa said of her and Nick’s late son, Zen Cannon, who passed away last year due to complications related to a brain tumor.
“I know he is watching down on us. He shows me signs every day,” Scott said of her late son. “I will hold onto this memory forever,” Alyssa said of her labor and delivery experience earlier this month. “I will remember the sound of Nick’s voice saying ‘it’s a girl’ and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl. I got my surprise! We love you, Halo Marie Cannon!”

Halo made Nick Cannon a father for the twelfth time. The entertainer welcomed four additional children this year, which led some to scrutinize his ideology of the family unit. Still, Nick has remained a doting father who is involved in the lives of all of his children.
“Contrary to popular belief, I’m probably engaged throughout my children’s day, more often than the average adult can be,” Nick shared during an interview this past summer. “If I’m not physically in the same city with my kids, I’m talking to them before they go to school via FaceTime and stuff,” he added. “And then when I am [in the same city, I’m] driving my kids to school, like making sure I pick them up.”

Halo Marie Cannon made Alyssa a mother for the third time. The Wild ‘N Out model has an older daughter from a previous relationship in addition to her kids with Nick Cannon.
