Ciara, Russell Wilson and their kids are picture-perfect in new holiday photos. “Merry Christmas,” captioned Ciara underneath the candid, which featured her with her husband and their three children. All members of the family wore black with Sienna rocking a dress that was also red in color.
There is never a dull moment in the Wilson household. Ciara recently shared a video clip of her with the kids that was nothing short of a testament to her life as a parent.
In the video, Ciara is held down by all three of her kids. The singer’s daughter, Sienna, holds onto her mom’s neck while CiCi’s sons, Future Zahir and Win, keep her legs on the ground. “In my element,” Ciara told her social media fans. “Mom Life,” the recording artist hashtagged.
Ciara and Russell Wilson have been living their best lives in Colorado despite the setbacks he has faced on the football field. Some have questioned the Broncos’ decision to expand Russell’s contract amid the team’s losses this season. Still, many believe in the redemptive power that comes with determination.
Ciara is also determined to make her mark in history. The ‘Level Up’ singer recently sat down with Women’s Health to discuss a few of her ambitions going forward.
“I told myself I’ve got to figure out how to navigate in the next chapter of my life,” Ciara shared with the media source. “All the things I was aspiring to have at that time, even thinking about love, I was like, It’s going to happen when it’s supposed to. But I can’t love anybody to the best of my ability if I’m not loving on myself,” the singer explained.
“I can’t be the best mom if I’m not loving on myself,” CiCi continued. “So I put more focus on me, taking care of me; it was the best thing I could have done.”
Self-care is a sort of driving force that continues to fuel Ciara’s quest to maintain ownership over her creative aspirations. “Everything I’m doing at this stage is authentic to me, and I’m intentional about it,” the singer revealed to Women’s Health.
“I want to show up when it’s time to show up—personally, professionally, [for a] performance, everything. That’s my mentality. I can’t waver on the things that I need to do, to be my best in those moments.”
