The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder fans rejoice as the Proud Family revival gets renewed for season 2!
But, before we delve deeper into what we know about the upcoming new season on Disney+, we have to mention that the series is unquestionably making its mark as it recently won the Outstanding Casting for An Animated Program award at the first Children’s & Family Emmy Awards.
Now, that is how you do a revival!
Season 2 of The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder will hit the airwaves in February and is expected to feature a stellar list of new guest stars. According to JustJaredJr.com, here are some of the voices that we can expect to hear in upcoming new episodes and the names of the characters that they will portray.

- Courtney B. Vance as Merlin Kelly
- Liana Mendoza as Singing Judge
If by some chance, you haven’t caught the first season of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder revival and aren’t quite sure what to expect, well, here is a brief synopsis of how it all started.
The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder is a continuation of the original Disney Channel series, which aired from 2001 to 2005, picking up with 14-year-old Penny Proud, navigating modern life only how she can. The majority of the original cast is back to voice our favorite characters. Actors who have come back for the new series include Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud, Paula Jai Parker as Trudy Proud and Jo Marie Payton as Suga Mama.
During season 1, the long list of A-listers that immediately signed-up to voice guest-star included: Lil Nas X, Normani, Lizzo, Jaden Smith, Tiffany Haddish, among others.
Although, we don’t have an official air date for the new season, we do know that we should expect it in February on Disney+!
