John Legend and Chrissy Teigen enjoyed a night out in town with their kids, Luna and Miles, this past weekend. The family stopped by The Market at Westfield in Los Angeles, California.
Santa Claus came to town along with Mrs. Claus and all of their helpers. John and Chrissy enjoyed spending time with their kids at the marketplace. “We had so much fun last night taking over Mrs. Claus’ bakery with our @cravingsbychrissyteigen baking mixes at @westfieldcenturycity Santa’s North Pole Journey and loved meeting all of you,” Chrissy told her social media fans on Monday (Dec. 12).
“Thank you thank you all for coming and for helping us raise funds for the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank,” Teigen said of her and the family’s charity efforts. “We love you all and hope everyone has a wonderful holiday,” the Cravings cookbook author said.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen will soon welcome their youngest son or daughter. The celebrity couple shared news of the family’s expansion earlier this year. John recently opened up about his and Chrissy’s expectancy of another child after losing their son, Jack, to miscarriage two years ago.
“Sometimes, after you lose a pregnancy and get pregnant again, you’re guardedly optimistic, because you never know if tragedy could strike again,” the celebrity father admitted. “But, at a certain point, everyone’s going to start speculating if they see her belly,” John added in reference to his and Chrissy’s decision to wait a bit before announcing their expectancy in August. “We thought the time was right to let everyone know,” the recording artist said.
Chrissy gives her social media fans pregnancy updates. Neither she nor John, however, know about the gender of their unborn child.
“We don’t know anything about our new baby yet, so it’s hard to know how we’ll feel in the moment,” John told The New Yorker. “I’m not anticipating filling the hole that we felt when we lost Jack,” he shared.
“I just feel it’ll be a new person in our lives to love and to make our lives more joyful. We’ll still always carry some of that grief from Jack, but we’ll just keep living and loving and finding joy in life. And living in pieces.”
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are expecting their little one to arrive next year.
