True Thompson enjoyed a birthday party filled with love and lots of butterflies. Khloe Kardashiand and Tristan Thompson’s daughter rang in her sixth birthday with a butterfly-themed bash.
True’s party was considered an extravaganza as the youngster had everything from fun activities to great food for her guests. Khloe went out of her way to give her daughter the best celebration as she spared no expense to make True’s special day fantastic.
Some questioned the Good American owner’s motives when she revealed her choice to not let her daughter’s father pay for the birthday bash. “I work really hard to do elaborate things for True and I don’t need anyone’s help,” Khloe shared in response to some of the backlash she received.
Fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) may remember Khloe’s opposition to Tristan attempting to pay for their daughter’s fourth birthday party two years ago. “He’s not taking care of the whole party,” Khloe told her mom, Kris Jenner, who received a phone call from Tristan in which he expressed his intention to pay for everything pertaining to his daughter’s birthday bash. “That’s nice but I won’t let that happen,” Khloe told her mom.
Kris did not agree with her daughter’s decision to refuse Tristan’s offer to foot the bill for True’s fourth birthday party. “You should,” Jenner told her daughter during the KUWTK episode. “He was so excited to do it,” the celebrity grandmother added. “And I’m so excited that I could do it all by myself,” Khloe concluded.
Tristan and Khloe were an on-again-off-again couple until last year when his infidelity went public. Thompson fathered a son with fitness guru Maralee Nichols while in a committed relationship with Khloe. Such an instance was the second time the star athlete cheated on his daughter’s mother.
Khloe learned of Tristan’s affair along with the general public, which brought her further embarrassment. She has remained dedicated to solely co-parenting their daughter alongside her ex-boyfriend ever since.
