Khloe Kardashian has truly become a household name in addition to that of her famous family. As an entrepreneur, and co-founder of Good American, she has built up her own financial freedom and wants to make sure that she is doing everything for her daughter herself. Recently, on a new episode of The Kardashians, the 38-year-old revealed why she wouldn’t let Tristan Thompson pay for their daughter’s birthday party.
“I work really hard to do elaborate things for True and I don’t need anyone’s help,” Khloe said in the most recent episode of The Kardashians.
During four-year-old True’s birthday party, Kris Jenner, pulled her daughter aside, stating that she received a call from Thompson and that he “privately went ahead and took care of the whole party.” To which Khloe replied, “He’s not taking care of the whole party. That’s nice but I won’t let that happen.”
“You should. He was so excited to do it,” Jenner encouraged in the episode.
Khloe replied, hugging her mother. “And I’m so excited that I could do it all by myself.
“I know, but you should let him do that. He wanted to do that for her birthday,” Jenner said again.
Kardashian reiterated, “That’s very nice, but I won’t let him do that.”
Kardashian and Thompson began dating in 2016. The pair welcomed their daughter True in 2018. Shortly there after, the pair split, but reconciled in 2021 to only split again, in January 2022, after it was reported that Thompson was expecting a baby with another woman, Maralee Nichols.
However, True isn’t the only child that the couple shares. In August of this year, Kardashian and Thompson welcomed their second child together, a baby boy, via surrogate.
