Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, gave their son, whom they affectionately call Papa Bear, a fabulous party in celebration of his second birthday. Nicki recently shared pictures and video clips from her little one’s Minion-themed bash with social media fans.
Minaj praised her team for coordinating the event. “Next. Level,” the celebrity mom said of the decorations and overall setup. “So grateful to Edgar and his team,” she added. “Before I post pics, [I] wanted to show you guys the overall world,” Nicki said of her decision to upload a video clip that gave fans an inside look at Papa Bear’s bash.
Every portion of the venue was decorated to perfection. Minion balloons were placed throughout the space, and the bounce house for the kids was surrounded by tables and other party must-haves.
“So beautiful,” Nicki said of the party. “Ice cream machine, cotton candy machine, smoothie machine, popcorn, magic mocktail bar, bouncy house and slide, slime station, Lego hat making station, coloring station, face painting, etc.,” the celebrity mom said of the activities and food present at her son’s bash.
Papa Bear turned two years old on September 30, 2022. Cassie and Alex Fine were among those celebrity parents to bring their kids to help the little one commemorate his latest stage of development.
“Frankie and Sunny are now in charge of the baby barbs fan group,” Alex said of his and Cassie’s daughters who enjoyed Papa Bear’s party and the company of the youngster’s parents. “Had so much fun taking the girls to celebrate Papa Bear,” Cassie said of the outing.
Papa Bear is Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty’s only child. The ‘Super Freaky Girl’ rapper recently revealed the anxiety she has developed since becoming a parent.
“I’m very attached to my son,” Nicki shared during an interview with E! News. “I remember being in the U.K. and just bawling. And when I try to FaceTime him, I get more sad,” the recording artist recalled an instance in which she tried to talk with her son while on the road. “So, I try to hold out on FaceTiming him because to then put the phone down is so difficult,” Minaj shared.
Nicki has expressed her desire to give her son a sibling, though not in the near future. “Not at this moment,” Minaj said of the prospect of having another child. “But I don’t want to deprive my son of siblings,” she continued. “Having siblings, it causes you to have problem management skills early on in life. I would feel guilty if I didn’t give Papa Bear another sibling or two.”
