Yung Miami, real name Caresha Brownlee, was in full celebration mode this past weekend. The City Girls rapper commemorated her daughter Summer Miami Luellen’s third birthday this past weekend.
Summer enjoyed several festivities while wearing a Gucci dress. The youngster took several pictures with her mom while enjoying her special day. “Happy third birthday to my princess,” Yung Miami wrote to her daughter.
Many could not believe how much Summer has grown. “I remember when you were falling asleep during your photo shoot,” a family friend said in reference to a throwback photo session of Summer when she was a baby. “Now look how time flies,” the loved one added. “Happy birthday.”
It indeed may feel as if it were yesterday that Yung Miami announced her expectancy of a child. The City Girls star initially remained quiet about her pregnancy for fear of being shunned by the industry. Yung Miami ultimately decided to share the news of her family’s expansion with her loyal fans.
“I want this journey to be nothing but positive going forward and I wanted to share this with y’all,” the rapper said in an Instagram post. “No one knows what is best for me but GOD, and this was just his timing for me,” Yung Miami continued.
“I did everything they said I couldn’t because that’s just the type of woman I am and going to continue to be. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing and life-changing, so I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for the City Girls!”
Some thought having a child at what appeared to be the climax of her career would lead Yung Miami to digress. The artist, however, has managed to continue to build her brand and expand beyond music to talk show hosting.
Summer is Yung Miami’s child with producer Southside. The rapper also has an older son named Jai Malik Wiggins Jr. (pictured above).
