Chrissy Teigen is embracing every part of her pregnancy. The Cravings cookbook author recently took to Instagram with an expectancy update that shed light on Teigen’s sensitive stomach.
“I have lived the life of a spoiled rotten stomach,” Chrissy told her supporters on Wednesday (Oct. 12). “I could do ANYTHING to it – street meat, landlocked sushi, stuff that smelled off, 5 second rule floor food, ghost pepper contests, countless shots,” she added. “And she was strong, my stomach,” the expectant star said.
“Now, half of a single cherry tomato can take me down for 12 hours,” Chrissy shared with her social media followers. “But I am still so happy to be your rental home, little baby,” Teigen wrote to her unborn child.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen announced their expectancy of baby number four in August. The news came nearly two years after the celebrity parents suffered a miscarriage with their third child, Jack Stephens.
“That pain is never going to completely go away,” John shared with the press during a recent interview. “You’re never exactly the same after you lose someone,” the recording artist said.
John Legend created a single called ‘Stardust’ to honor his wife’s strength during such a tumultuous time. “That was one of the earliest songs I wrote for the album, in the aftermath of losing our pregnancy, and it was really meaningful for Chrissy – because it was therapeutic after going through what we went through,” John shared with the press.
“That whole section of the [album] is really about healing,” Legend further shared about his latest project. “It’s about figuring out a way to survive through your grief and remembering what you mean to the people that love you, and who you love.”
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are expecting their fourth child to arrive next year. The little one will join the couple’s son, Miles, and daughter, Luna, at home.
