John Legend had the best time with his son, Miles Stephens, at the football game this past weekend. The ‘Minefields’ singer shared pictures from his time at SoFi stadium with his “mini-me.”
John and Miles were given the royal treatment with box office seats. The two hob-knobbed with celebrities such as Magic Johnson while taking in the action on the field. John and Miles also took pictures on the field to create even more lasting memories. “Miles’s first NFL game,” John said of the experience. “Thank you @rams,” the celebrity father wrote to the Los Angeles team.
The Stephens will soon have another member of the family join them. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen announced their expectancy of another child a few weeks ago. Chrissy recently told the press that she and John told the kids about the new baby.
“Since we did IVF [in-vitro fertilization] we knew probably nine days after we did the transfer that it had worked and we were pregnant,” Chrissy shared. “I told [the kids] very, very early,” she added.
“They knew that I was going in for the transfer, that we were going to go in and put this egg inside Mommy’s belly,” Teigen revealed. “So they knew from the very, very beginning, and they knew there was a chance it might not work because that’s happened before.”
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen used IVF treatments for all of their pregnancies. The celebrity couple suffered a miscarriage in 2020 while preparing for baby number three. Chrissy recently revealed that her miscarriage was more like a life-saving abortion as doctors were forced to choose between her life and the life of her son.
“Two years ago, when I was pregnant with Jack, John, and my third child, I had to make a lot of difficult and heartbreaking decisions,” Chrissy revealed last month during a session at the “A Day of Unreasonable Conversation” summit. “It became very clear around halfway through that he would not survive, and that I wouldn’t either without any medical intervention,” Teigen added.
Several criticized Chrissy Teigen after learning that her miscarriage was actually an abortion. The cookbook author, however, did not let the noise drastically impact her mood.
“If this makes you feel better, great,” Chrissy told her critics. “It doesn’t make me feel worse, though,” she added.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are expecting their fourth child to arrive next year.
