Happy birthday Rue Rose! Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert celebrated their youngest daughter’s second birthday on Tuesday (Sep. 13). They took to Instagram to commemorate their little one’s special day.
“Rueeeeeeeee’s 2,” Teyana told her social media fans. “#Ruechella was litttttttttt,” the celebrity mom said of her daughter’s birthday party. “Thank you to the team that helped bring the vision to life,” Teyana said to those who helped her put together Rue’s bash. “A special thank you to God mommy @monicadenise for holding it down and helping me coordinate while I was overseas,” Teyana wrote to R&B singer Monica. “Love you boo,” she added. “Rue loved it! She made us sing happy bday three times in a row.”
Rue Rose’s birthday party was definitely one for the books. The youngster’s bash was based on the vibes one would find at Coachella. All of the decorations and Rue’s outfit were in sync with the atmosphere Teyana and Iman were trying to create. “Where is the time going,” Iman Shumpert asked.
It was in 2020 that Rue Rose made her mom and dad parents for the second time. The little one was born in the restroom of the family’s home just like her big sister, Iman “Junie Bug” Tayla Shumpert Jr.
“[They’re] my best friends,” Teyana said of her kids during a recent interview. “I love my babies,” she added. “Even through all this craziness, I’m obsessed,” Taylor doted. “I’ve always wanted to be a mom,” the recording artist went onto tell the press. “Even before I got to where I wanted to be, I knew that I would always have my kids with me everywhere I went.”
Rue Rose has not been on the road as much as her older sister. The youngster has, however, enjoyed many fun times at home with her family.
