The new animated series will not only have the entire family, not just the kids, singing and dancing around the house, it will also teach children valuable social-emotional lessons.
“As a father, grandfather and longtime youth football coach, it’s always been important to me to build positive and educational environments for all children,” Snoop Dogg said in a press release about the new series. “We wanted to bring our show to YouTube and YouTube Kids which provides free access to everyone, so all the kids can enjoy it.”
Geared towards kids aged toddler to 8-years-old, this new series, is unquestionably one that parents should add to their daily rotation.
Want to know more about Doggyland? Well, according to the Doggyland website:
The show features a colorful cast of dogs in a vibrant world where they sing, rap and dance to fun and educational songs that teach learning and cognitive fundamentals for kids all around the world.
The songs help promote social emotional development as well as age related cognitive development in the preschool set and older. We cover a wide range of engaging topics such as letters, numbers, colors, animals, good habits, hygiene, accepting others and more, along with modern remixes of classic nursery rhymes. Our music is made by award winning producers, rappers and singers resulting in tunes that everyone in the family can enjoy, allowing parents to participate in their child’s learning experience.
The show is centered on a group of puppies led by an adult mentor named Bow Wizzle, who is voiced by Snoop Dogg. Every dog is different in color and shape to help promote diversity and inclusion.
“I’ve always wanted to create a kid-friendly series that lets kids be kids and is truly representative of the Culture with everything from the music to the characters,” Snoop Dogg said. “When I started to build my team, it was only right to partner with Claude, who created the iconic series, Hip Hop Harry, which built the blueprint to diverse kids programming, and October London, a talented singer and writer.”
Doggyland episodes are now streaming on both YouTube and YouTube kids. New episodes drop every Tuesday. But of course, the new series isn’t all! There’s Doggyland gear and an accompanying album “Doggyland – Kids Songs & Nursery Rhymes”, available on all streaming platforms.
