Are Kyrie Irving and his girlfriend, Marlene Wilkinson, expecting another child? Maybe so! Some fans are convinced the Brooklyn Nets player is preparing for baby number two with his partner after Kyrie posted a series of pictures that featured Marlene with their son, Kaire.
Kyrie brought attention to Marlene’s stomach in one picture, which appeared to showcase a baby bump. The candid featured their son so viewers could understand that the photo was not a throwback. “Such a beautiful family,” one social media follower said. “Love this,” another supporter wrote in response to the pictures Kyrie shared.
Marlene Wilkinson and Kyrie Irving welcomed their son last last year. Kaire joined his older sister, Azurie Elizabeth Irving, at home. Kyrie took to Instagram on last week to give well wishes on Marlene’s birthday.
“Happy Journey around the UNIVERSE Mama Bear,” Irving wrote to Wilkinson. “I love you and I am eternally grateful we get to spend our lives together. You have taught me so much about Balance, Love, Trust, Community and Forgiveness,” Kyrie said.
“[Cheers] to More memories and laughter with you,” Kyrie went on to tell his girlfriend. “It’s been an honor to see you become a Mother and raise Kaire, and I am grateful I get to experience all of the growth with YOU. Thank you for everything my love. Continue to be a LIGHT And illuminate the path creator put in front of you.”
Marlene has been enjoying her life as a first-time mom all year. It was on Father’s Day 2022 that she celebrated her postpartum journey along with Kyrie on the holiday. Marlene uploaded throwback pictures from a maternity shoot that featured her in her third trimester of pregnancy.
“Fourteen months postpartum and it’s my favorite journey yet,” Wilkinson told her social media fans. “A teacher, leader, explorer, observer, and protector,” she went on to share in reference to her boyfriend. “The most gentle father and best friend,” Marlene further doted on Kyrie. “We celebrate your presence and impact daily.”
Neither Kyrie Irving nor Marlene Wilkinson have officially confirmed their expectancy of another child.
