DaniLeigh is enjoying life with her daughter, Velour. The recording artist recently shared pictures of her little one enjoying a pool party alongside her mom in Orlando, Florida.
Velour’s facial expressions were nothing short of precious. The youngster was sure to give the camera her full attention at one point as she sat poolside beside her mom. “I love my baby,” Dani told her social media fans. “Yup, yup,” the celebrity mom continued. ‘I love my girl.”
Some have criticized DaniLeigh for sharing pictures of Velour often. A few trolls even went so far as to accuse the recording artist of trying to get back at her daughter’s father, DaBaby, as DaniLeigh appeared to increase the number of Instagram posts that included her little one after her relationship with DaBaby ended last year.
Dani, however, has hit back at the critics by reminding them that she has the liberality to share as much, or as little, about her daughter as she pleases. The recording artist also released a single that addresses her and DaBaby’s tumultuous relationship, which ended on Instagram Live in front of thousands of fans. DaniLeigh discussed her motivation to be an entertainer during a recent interview with UNCLEAR magazine.
“I’ve grown up singing and dancing my whole life,” the recording artist revealed. “I started off dancing and choreographing mostly, and music kinda just came along naturally in the process. It’s a part of who I am – I can’t imagine my life without it,” DaniLeigh said.
“I can’t remember one thing exactly what drew me in,” the performer went on to discuss her life as an entertainer. “I actually can’t remember a time when it wasn’t a part of life,” Dani shared. “It’s kind of just engrained in me. Plus growing up Dominican … that’s our way of life. [On] Family Sundays we get together, sing, dance, [and] enjoy life.”
