Kid Cudi, born Scott Mescudi, is opening up about one of the most important people in his life…his daughter. Recently, the “Day N’ Nite” singer covered Esquire Magazine and he opened up, saying that his daughter Vada wishes that fans wouldn’t interrupt their time together.

In the cover interview, Cudi explained that he was with 12-year-old Vada in Cleveland when he stepped away from her to take a few photos with two fans. When he got back in the car with his daughter, he asked her how the encounter made her feel. Her response, “Sad, because I want it to just be us.”

Well, taking his daughter’s wish to heart and obliging, the 38-year-old told fans, “Let this be an APB for everybody out there,” he said. “Please, if you see me with my daughter, let us have our moment. This is Vada asking, not me.”

It is apparent that Vada is not only the rapper’s number one fan, but she is also the person whose opinion is very important to him. In the interview, King Cudi talks about his upcoming tour and said that he is both nervous and excited for his daughter to see him perform.

“This tour I’m about to do is the biggest one she’ll see,” he said. “I’m excited to see what she thinks about it.”

The “Pursuit of Happiness” rapper gushed over his daughter saying that she is, “the coolest, bravest person.” He also donned her as his, “North Star”.

And of course, Vada looks to possibly follow in her father’s footsteps one day as she is a theater kid who is also showing interest in music.

As of now, Vada is King Cudi’s only child; however, the entertainer said that one day he hopes to settle down and give his daughter siblings.

“I’m a relationship man,” he said of himself. “My goal is to find someone. Soon, hopefully. And get married and have more kids.”
