Congratulations to Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson on the arrival of their second child together. A representative for Khloe told PEOPLE exclusively that the former couple’s baby boy, who will join Tristan and Khloe’s daughter True Thompson at home, had arrived via surrogacy.

“A rep for the Good American co-founder, 38, tells PEOPLE that Kardashian and the NBA player, 31, –– who split in January –– welcomed their second baby together via surrogate.
The newest addition is a baby boy.”
News of Khloe and Tristan expecting another child began to spread last month. An insider revealed the gender of the baby. “Khloe has always wanted a little brother for True and decided to go ahead with having the baby with the support of her family,” the family friend shared with the press.
“Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing,” the insider continued. “We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”
Fans gave Khloe and Tristan privacy regarding the notion of them having another child together. Supporters could not overlook the fact, however, that Tristan had welcomed a son, Theo Thompson, with fitness influencer Maralee Nichols near the end of last year. In fact, it was Tristan’s sexual relations with Maralee that allegedly ended his relationship with Khloe.
“A courtesy would be not doing it,” Khloe shared in reference to Tristan cheating on her again. “But fine, if you do it, you’re not even gonna be a f—ing heads up before the rest of the world,” Kardashian shared during an episode of her Reality TV series, The Kardashians. “It’s just an additional slap in my face,” Khloe said of the experience of learning about Tristan’s infidelity along with the general public. “It’s humiliating,” she added. “I’m embarrassed.”
Tristan admitted to being the father of little Theo and committed to working with his son’s mother for a good co-parenting relationship. Thompson’s second child with Khloe makes him a father for the fourth time.
