The opinions are in! Lela Rochon’s daughter, Asia Rochon Fuqua, looks just like her mom! Several Instagram users commented on how much the 20-year-old carries her mother’s physical features.
Lela Rochon took to Instagram on Thursday (Jul. 28) to commemorate her daughter’s birthday. “#HBD to my favorite girl @asiafuqua,” Lela Rochon wrote on her daughter’s birthday. “I love you to pieces, pretty girl,” the celebrity mom added. “Keep shining bright and reaching for the stars! The world is yours! All my love. I’m blessed to be your mom.”
Holly Robinson Peete also took to Instagram to celebrate Asia’s birthday. The veteran actress recalled a party in which she and her good friend commemorated their kids’ birthdays. “how is it possible that 19 years ago we had their first birthday party together,” Holly asked Lela. “Sending a happy 20th birthday to you, beautiful @asiafuqua,” the actress wrote to the birthday girl.

Lela Rochon and Holly Robinson Peete both shared photo collages that included a few throwback pictures of when Asia was a little girl. Her physical features were not as evident in photos that featured Asi when she was younger. Fans clearly saw the resemblance the youngster had to her mom, however, in photos that featured an older Asia.
“Lord Hammercy (sic),” one fan exclaimed. “That baby stole her momma’s whole face,” the supporter continued. “She’s gorgeous!” Another Instagram follower wrote, “They are twins.”
Asia Rochon Fuqua made headlines last year after going to the prom while wearing the dress her mom wore to the premiere of Waiting To Exhale more than 20 years ago. The gown fit Asia perfectly just as it fit Lela perfectly in 1995. “Yes, I saved the dress,” Rochon told her social media fans who were thrilled to see her daughter wearing the red gown.
“She’s so gorgeous,” Naturi Naughton told Lela Rochon. “I can’t get over how grown up she is,” the actress added. Tameka Foster wrote, “Your ‘mini-me.’ You guys are so beautiful.”
Asia Rochon Fuqua is Lela Rochon’s daughter with her husband, Antoine Fuqua. The celebrity couple parents three kids in all.
