Get ready for more Bluey hijinks as the hit Australian television show for kids returns to Disney+ on August 10 for season three. However, the good news doesn’t stop there. According to the experts at Romper.com, there are three additional reasons why parents should rejoice because Bluey is back.
“We are really excited that our brand new season of Bluey, currently in production, will be coming to Disney,” Charlie Aspinwall, executive producer for Ludo Studio, the Emmy-Award-winning creative company behind Bluey, said in a statement shared with Romper. “Season 3 will bring us more fun and games at home with the Heelers and out and about with Bluey and Bingo’s friends.”
In addition to all of the fun mentioned above, parents can celebrate too and here are the three reasons why!
1. Bluey shows that parents are indeed people too.
Bluey puts, parents Chilli and Bandit up front and center, differing from most children’s shows where parents are not central figures in the action. Chilli and Bandit participate and learn just as their children do, somewhat taking the “mystery” out of being a parent and showing that parents can be fun.
2. Bluey encourages imaginative and creative play.
A common thread among episodes of Bluey is imaginative and creative play. This is unquestionably a win-win for parents because imaginative and creative play is not only important for child development, it will allow mom and dad the well deserved break they need when little ones can entertain themselves.
3. Episodes are the perfect length to keep little ones interested.
The attention span of two-four-year-olds ranges from 4-12 minutes. Well, parents rejoice, because Bluey, has got you covered. For nine minutes, Bluey will entertain and teach for your little ones. Need more time, don’t fret because the animated series will have 141 episodes available to view once season three hits the airwaves. So, if you need to fill up more time, just let Bluey play straight for a few episodes.
If this is the first time that you are hearing of Bluey, Bingo, Bandit, and Chilli? Make sure to tune-in to Disney+ on August 10 and make them a part of your family!
