CARMEON HAMILTON AND SON GIVE TRIBUTE TO MARCUS HAMILTON ON HIS BIRTHDAY

"You Would've Been The Great 38 Today"

HGTV star Carmeon Hamilton continues to move forward nearly one year after the death of her husband, Marcus Hamilton. The star of Reno My Rental recently took to Instagram with throwback pictures and video clips of her late husband and their son in honor of what would have been her spouse’s thirty-eighth birthday.

“You would’ve been the great 38 today,” Carmeon wrote to her husband. “These memories around your birthday last year are some of my all-time favs and I’m grateful that I get to reflect on them often,” the HGTV star shared. “You were your absolute greatest self then, so I can only imagine your spiritual ascension since,” Carmeon wrote to her late husband. “Thank you for being my light on the other side. Happy heavenly birthday, my love. I’ll love you out loud forever.

Carmeon Hamilton and her son, Davin Hamilton, were devastated by the news of Marcus Hamilton’s death last August. “It is with deep sorrow and an eternally broken heart that I tell you that the love of my life, Marcus Hamilton, has passed away,” Carmeon shared with her social media fans on Sunday, August 29, 2021. “I was alerted by MPD late last night that Marcus succumbed to his injuries from a motorcycle accident yesterday afternoon,” Hamilton said.

“I’m no stranger to loss, but this loss brings something beyond pain,” Carmeon admitted in her social media post. “Something I can’t describe,” she added. “I’m now missing a major part of myself and that void seems to grow more and more every second. I can’t bring myself to figure out Davin’s and my next step, because there shouldn’t be a need for one.”

Carmeon Hamilton ultimately returned to interior designing months after her husband’s death. “In my husband’s tragedy, I was able to just stop and live,” the HGTV star shared during a recent interview. “I wasn’t pulled in multiple directions trying to be a mom and also grieve as a wife and be a businessperson,” Carmeon revealed. “I was able to just be for as long as I needed to.”
