“Proud dad moment,” Carl shared on his Instagram page. “God has blessed me once again,” the celebrity father beamed. “Congratulations @justincarlcrawford on being selected by the @phillies in the first round [of] this year’s MLB amateur draft.”
Carl Crawford shared a picture of himself posing in the spotlight beside his son. “The Legacy,” Bay Bay exclaimed. “Bro, just the lil time I’ve known you, you’ve been nothing but solid,” Bay continued. “You must have what they say [is] the ‘Cheat Code’ to success … because a lot of things and people around you are being blessed.”
Carl Crawford’s sons certainly appear to follow in his footsteps. It was just a few weeks ago that the celebrity father’s son with Evelyn Lozada took to his Instagram page to celebrate his progress in baseball. Carl Leo Crawford admitted that he was still in the development stage of his craft. Still, the youngster showed signs of greatness on the field.
“I will never forget the power of practice,” Carl Leo assured his supporters. “I can feel myself getting better every day,” the youngster shared. “I love the game.”

Carl Crawford played for the Major Baseball League (MBL) for years before retiring in 2016. The star athlete left primarily due to declining abilities. “Every time I would get to 15 stolen bases, I’d get hurt,” Carl shared during an interview shortly after his retirement six years ago. “Every time, right at 15,” he revealed. That’s when I knew [the end was near], when I couldn’t steal more than 15 bases.”
