In the video clip, Princess Love invites Melody Love to sing like her father. The youngster sang off-key as a way to model Ray J’s challenging night in the vocal department. “That baby said what she said,” one social media follower wrote in response to Ray J’s daughter singing like her father. “Melody sounded better than her daddy,” another Instagram fan mused.

Ray J received hilarious backlash after his VERZUZ battle last month. Many thought the recording artist’s time on stage was memorable, yet Ray J’s singing left much to be desired.
Brandy was one to directly criticize Ray J after his performance. “She’s hard on me on this, so it’s not redemption, it’s Ray-demption,” Ray shared during a recent interview with The Talk. “I apologized to my sister right on the spot,” he added. “Right after I hit the note I apologized.”

Ray J recently attempted to redeem himself after the VERZUZ battle during a social media pop-up with Bobby V. The outcome of his attempt proved tragic as technical difficulties ruined the performance. Ray, however, promised to work to become better.
“I’m taking people on a ride with me; especially on my vocal lessons,” the recording artist said. “I’m ’bout to do vocal lessons with my dad and make up for what I did. I’m ’bout to go on a whole 90-day sing-o-rama plan,” Ray shared. “Are you going to go on a fast, too,” Bobby V jokingly asked. “Imma (sic) do it all because I want to prove to everybody that I really got it,” Ray responded. “And I want to be a good performer and a good singer.”
