Bobby Brown and his wife, Alicia Etheredge, are in full celebration mode as their son, Cassius, graduated from the sixth grade earlier this month. The doting parents took to Instagram to share pictures from the big day.
“Happy promotion day,” Alicia wrote to her son. “Congratulations to my Tough going into the seventh grade,” Bobby Brown shared. “He looks so grown up and handsome,” one social media fan said. “Congrats dude,” the supporter added. “Keep learning.”
Cassius is Alicia Etheredge and Bobby Brown’s oldest child. The youngster is one of seven kids Bobby fathers. Fans get to see Bobby and the family’ life in an upclose and personal manner every week as the veteran recording artist has a television series called Bobby Brown: Every Little Step.
“This biography I feel is therapeutic for me,” Brown shared during a recent interview with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I felt it should be done now more than later,” the recording artist shared. “I’m going through changes every day,” Bobby added. “I just wanted to get some things off my chest so I can move on.”
Bobby Brown has suffered immense loss in his personal life, which has included the death of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, and their daughter, Bobbi Kristina. The celebrity father’s son, Bobby Brown Jr., died last year of a drug overdose. Some hardships led Bobby to drink, which ultimately created a challenge with substance abuse. The celebrity father has managed to gain control of his life with the help of his wife.
“Having my life exposed in front of the camera has been an adjustment,” Alicia Etheredge recently said of the family’s new television series. “But it feels authentic and natural because we’re just being ourselves,” Etheredge continued.
“My husband is a full entertainer,” Alicia said of Bobby’s persona. “He’s always on,” the celebrity mom added. “He’s the jokester of the house,” Etheredge explained. “We’re happy to give you an insight to where Bobby is today.”
You can catch new episodes of Bobby Brown: Every Little Step every week on A&E.
