Blue Ivy Carter attended Game 5 of the NBA finals with her dad, Jay-Z, on Monday (Jun. 13). The youngster channeled one of her mom Beyonce’s iconic looks at the game.
Blue and Jay were featured on the jumbotron at the game. Fans took a second away from cheering for the Celtics and Warriors to acknowledge the cuteness that was the recording artist’s bond with his daughter. Jay-Z placed an arm around Blue and kissed her on the cheek before touching his heart to indicate love for his daughter.
Many could not get over Blue’s hair and apparel, which they believed channeled Beyonce. “How it started,” one fan said in reference to a throwback picture of Beyonce rocking curly hair with hoop earrings. “How it’s going,” the supporter added when comparing the old picture of Bey to Blue’s recent style at the NBA finals game.

Insiders who attended Monday night’s game also commented on Blue’s activity away from the spotlight. “Her (sic) and Jay-Z were by the locker rooms after the game,” an eyewitness shared exclusively with E! News. “[Blue] was so excited to meet Steph,” the insider continued. “He shook her hand and hugged Jay.”
The Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics with a final score of 104-94. Many believe the Warriors are on the brink of taking the NBA title as champions this year.
“It’s something I’ve dreamt about for sure,” Andrew Wiggins shared with the press. The Canadian basketball star came to the Warriors after playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves for five years. “There’s just a lot of great people here, great people that challenge you,” Wiggins said of his experience. “They hold you accountable,” the star athlete continued. “Everyone on this team, this organization, they support you and they want to see you do good.”
